Retiring in Thailand – My Interview

And Again I’mThrilled – My interview on Retiring in Thailand is now available on-line!

This week my third interview with Sixty and Me, on Retiring in Thailand, was published on the Sixty and Me Website.  I was extremely excited to do this interview as I do want to share my experience with others.  I’m very pleased with the results and sincerely hope that it encourages others to explore the possibility of retiring in another country.  One where the weather is agreeable, the cost of living is affordable, and it provides a lifestyle that nurtures and excites.

FullSizeRender-4All the interviews were taped here at my home on Koh Lanta.  As luck would have it, there were a series of power outages during the taping.  Of course we had no idea that this would continually happen, and being optimistic, we just kept going hoping that the few outages were random occurrences.  We were so wrong as the outages continued steadily for over an hour.  We realized that we had to stop and reschedule for another day.  This particular interview was planned during the first taping, but not actually recorded until the second taping, when fortunately the power was strong and steady.

The quality of this interview is much better than the previous two.  I appear to be quite relaxed, which I was.  I wasn’t at all stressed as the power wasn’t going down every few minutes.  Margaret and I have a nice rhythm going and I thoroughly enjoyed speaking with her about my experience retiring here on Koh Lanta.

Check out the article I wrote on doing the interviews, found here on my Website in the Lifestyle Section, or click here to access it.

It’s all good!

  1. Loved the interview. Thanks for sharing your insights about living in Thailand. I am living in Nicaragua, with my daughter and two lovely Nica cats. 🙂
