Where to put it? The Danny’s sign is huge and it’s wonderful, but it opened up and eliminated possibilities.
On the roof of the restaurant was an idea, but the sign was big and with the metal frame, it was heavy. It wasn’t a good idea to risk it collapsing the roof. Even though the roof was sturdy, it was really a deck cover, not a roof. And putting it on the wall of the building next door, had complication with electrical hook up and liability.
So it had to go on the restaurant building. And it had to be easily accessible for electrical hook-up and maintenance. A lot of great minds were on it, and a few beverages, when down.
Bingo! How about on the balcony? What a great idea.
The installation began. It was lifted, mounted and secured to the building. And the electrical installation began. In the 40C+ heat, I might add. It took a few days, but it got done
It looks great, but when the sun goes down, it’s spectacular.
For the best sign on the island, and the best food, head to Danny’s on Long Beach.
You can’t miss it after sunset!
It’s all good!
