I’m been so busy these past few months preparing my bi-monthly Substack Newsletter, and writing articles for Sixty and Me, that I haven’t written any articles exclusively for myself and for this Website.
As I love to share my work, and I don’t want anyone to miss out getting my great ‘stuff’, I’m providing you with links to my other publications.
You can simply browse around in each link, or sign up for free. Yes, both are free. And if you sign up for either, you’ll get emails, so you don’t even have to go looking for anything. Sounds easy right? It is!
My Retired Way Out There Substack

Use this link to access my Substack. I’ve been sending out a bi-monthly newsletter since early 2025. The response has been terrific.
When I started this newsletter, it was to write about various topics, and issues, of importance or of concern for us as we age. In the Spring I started to include an interview with someone retired. These interviews are with are normal, regular, everyday people, finding their way in retirement. Many have dived right into their passions, and others are letting life guide them.
The take-away from all my interviews is that retirement is not the ending to our story. Oh no, it’s the start of a whole new one.

My Sixty and Me Author Page

I’ve been writing for Sixty and Me for over a decade. They even have an author page set up for me. Check out all my Sixty and Me articles with this link.
There are even a few interviews Margaret Manning, the creator of Sixty and Me, and I did a while ago. She was interested in why and how I ended up on Koh Lanta.
Every so often I watch these segments. While I’ve aged since they were made, my responses would be exactly the same if these interviews happened today.

Enjoy
I write for two reasons. One because I love it. I’ve always loved to write. When I was a kid I wanted to ‘get it all down’ before it was gone. Meaning before I forgot it all. That urgency is gone now, but the idea is the same. I still want to get it all down, for my second reason. Because I want to share my life as I explore retirement as I divide my time between the two places I now call home: Ottawa, Canada and Koh Lanta, Thailand.

It’s all good!
